Water-storing granules with high-quality active soil conditioners

Keep water in the soil when the rain stays away

PowerGelee is a water-storing granule with high-quality active soil conditioners. It keeps water and nutrients at the root. For you that means fewer passes, less diesel, fewer working hours, and a crop that gets through dry weeks better. You work it into the root zone once, and its half-life is about 5 years. It is blended to your soil analysis, matched to soil type and crop.

Non-binding assessment of your existing lab report. Heiko also advises you via WhatsApp.

With and without PowerGelee
with PowerGelee without PowerGelee

Rain

With PowerGelee: The pure water-storing granule absorbs up to 380 times its own weight in water and swells into a gel. The plant grows strongly.

Without PowerGelee: The compacted soil does not let the water through, so it stays on top of the field. The plant starts to struggle.

Dry spell

With PowerGelee: The plant draws water and nutrients from the gel through its roots and stands strong in the sun too. The gel refills with the next rain.

Without PowerGelee: The puddle disappears and the soil gets denser and harder. The plant hangs its head.

More time, more money: water storage that pays off for your farm

Dry spells are getting longer. Seed, fertiliser, diesel and labour are getting more expensive, and fertilisers are losing their approval. That makes it all the more important that what you apply actually reaches the crop. PowerGelee starts in the soil, where water and nutrients are either held or lost. It is an investment in your soil, your crops and your farm.

More time

Water and nutrients stay at the root, so you go out less often to top up water and nutrients. Every pass you skip is hours you have for other work. And you do not apply PowerGelee itself anew every year.

More money

Fewer passes mean less diesel, less machine wear and fewer labour hours. Nutrients that stay at the root are not leached and do not have to be supplied again. Over the years that is cheaper than conventional fertilisation, and you do not have to apply PowerGelee anew every year.

Steadier yields

Evenly supplied plants get through dry weeks better. Our customers report higher yields and larger fruit, and on strawberries about 30 % more fruit set on average. The blend follows your soil analysis; there is no standard formulation.

We have been blending for farms since 2015, in Germany and beyond. Heiko advises you himself: by phone, via WhatsApp or on your field.

Our water-storing granules with high-quality active soil conditioners improve water storage, increase nutrient availability and rebuild depleted soils, for vigorous plants, stable yields and fertile soils in the long run.

What farmers ask us most

What is PowerGelee?

PowerGelee is a water-storing granule with high-quality active soil conditioners. GeleeVital puts the blend together individually for each farm, based on the soil analysis, the soil type and the crop. The granules absorb water and nutrients and release them to the plant as needed.

Is PowerGelee a fertiliser?

No. PowerGelee is a water-storing granule with high-quality active soil conditioners, not a fertiliser. It keeps water, main nutrients and trace elements in the root zone and reduces leaching. It does not replace fertilisation. But as long as PowerGelee is working in the soil, you can fertilise about 30 % less than before. That is optional: you can also keep fertilising as usual. Liming is still needed.

Does PowerGelee help with depleted soils?

Yes. The blend follows your soil analysis and adds what the soil lacks. The high-quality active soil conditioners improve soil structure and keep nutrients in the root zone, and the water-storing granules make up for missing water-holding capacity. This rebuilds a depleted soil over several years. We do not give a yield guarantee.

Is PowerGelee a running cost or an investment?

An investment in your soil, your crops and your farm. PowerGelee is worked into the root zone once and has a half-life of about 5 years. So you do not apply it anew every year. The benefit is spread over several crops and rotations: water and nutrients stay in the root zone, and you save passes. How this pays off for your farm depends on soil, crop and area. We work that out with you based on your soil analysis.

How long does PowerGelee last?

PowerGelee has a half-life of about 5 years. That means: around 5 years after it is worked into the root zone, about half of it is still active in the soil. It breaks down gradually and does not need to be applied again every year.

What do you need for a quote?

A complete lab report of your soil sample, ideally including the trace elements boron, copper, manganese, iron and zinc, plus the crop, area in hectares and soil type (e.g. sandy loam or clay loam). Upload the report via the “Submit soil sample” form; the initial assessment is free and non-binding.

Which crops is PowerGelee suitable for?

In principle for all conventional crops: arable farming, vegetables, specialty crops, orchards and vineyards. Our customers use it for corn, sugar beet, pumpkin, zucchini, asparagus, strawberries, cherries and apples, among others, including in polytunnels. For newly planted or replanted young vines there is VitalYouth, for horticulture and ornamentals VitalFlower.

Can PowerGelee be used in organic farming?

Due to EU regulations, PowerGelee is designed exclusively for conventional agriculture. This may be different in your country. To find out whether it can be used in your case, please contact us with your specific needs.

Where does GeleeVital deliver?

To Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland, and worldwide on request. For deliveries to other countries we first clarify the delivery route, customs and import rules for your country with you. You do not need an on-site appointment: you upload the lab report of your soil sample online, and advice is given by phone, email or WhatsApp.

How is PowerGelee applied?

It goes straight into the root zone. Depending on the crop, this is done with a seed drill, a rotary harrow with a seeding unit, a mulch film layer when planting, or a spreader followed by ploughing or cultivating it in. There are further options: just get in touch and we will find the one that matches your needs best.
